The Ultimate Fall Playlist

Fall is definitely my favorite season. From sweater weather to pumpkin flavored everything, there is not one thing I don’t enjoy about fall. With fall already commencing, I thought I would make a playlist encompassing all of my favorite fall-esque songs. Without further ado, here’s my ultimate fall playlist.

Electric Love – BØRNS

“Electric Love” is a fantastic feel-good song.  When I listen to it, it reminds me of neon lights and just overall good vibes.

Rollin’ – Calvin Harris ft. Future and Khalid

Though not as happy as the first one, this song still gives me fall vibes. It’s about moving on from someone who just wasn’t right for you, and it’s super catchy and upbeat.

Teenage Fever – Drake

Featuring a sample from none other than Jennifer Lopez, “Teenage Fever” is definitely a laid-back song you can chill to.

Marvin’s Room – Drake

If you know me, then you know how much I absolutely love this song. It’s the ultimate “put you in your feels” song, and is sure to make you miss an ex you’ve never even really had.

100 Letters – Halsey

Listening to this song just reminds me of autumn leaves falling, and I really don’t know why. The sound is very atmospheric and pretty, and it also happens to be my favorite off of Halsey’s latest album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom.

Hurricane (Arty Remix) – Halsey

This astonishingly upbeat take on a generally dark song is fantastic. I’m rarely ever a fan of remixes, but this one works perfectly.

Two Ghosts – Harry Styles

Serving as the latest single from Harry Styles’ debut self-titled album, “Two Ghosts” is a heartbreaking song about you and an ex-lover trying to rekindle what once was, but ultimately realizing you two are just not who you used to be. It’s sad, and perfect for a rainy Fall day.

From The Dining Table – Harry Styles

An even sadder song than the previous, “From The Dining Table” is about an ex moving on from your relationship far sooner than you have. It’s soft, melodic, and very gut-wrenching.

Loner – Kali Uchis

“Loner” by Kali Uchis is another heartbreaking song, this time about rather wanting to be alone than with someone who doesn’t appreciate you. It’s very relatable, and I feel like everyone who listens can take something from what she is saying.

LOVE. – Kendrick Lamar ft. Zacari

This song reminds me a lot of “Electric Love” by BØRNS in the sense that it gives off the same feel-good fall vibes.

The Way Life Goes – Lil Uzi Vert

As of lately, this has been my go-to song for when I’m needing a pick me up. The chorus serves as a good reminder that no pain is permanent, and things will always get better.

Neon Guts – Lil Uzi Vert ft. Pharrell Williams

“Neon Guts” is probably my current favorite song. It’s so upbeat and carefree, it instantly lifts my mood whenever I hear it. Plus, the Pharrell feature makes it 10x better.

Hard Feelings/Loveless – Lorde

My love for this song is honestly endless. In “Hard Feelings/Loveless”, Lorde tells a whole story from heartbreak to resurrection, and it’s truly beautiful.

Cherry Hill – Russ

This song is very ethereal-sounding, and another one that gives off very happy vibes.

Secrets – The Weeknd

In all honesty, the entirety of The Weeknd’s Starboy album reminds me of fall, but specifically this song. The chorus is infectious, and will immediately make you want to dance.

Dusk Till Dawn – Zayn ft. Sia

Zayn and Sia’s voices come together and create something beautiful in this perfect ballad (which also comes with an incredible movie-like music video). This song is so gorgeous and definitely worth the listen.

Alive – Kehlani ft. Coucheron

This song has always been one of my go-to’s for when I’m not feeling my best. Kehlani sings of forgiveness and self-love in this nostalgic ballad and it’s truly breathtaking.

Sweater Weather – The Neighbourhood

What would a fall playlist be without this song? “Sweater Weather” is the ultimate fall song, it even has the perfect title.

Sadderdaze – The Neighbourhood

Coming straight from The Neighbourhood’s newly released EP Hard, “Sadderdaze” is a very chill, somewhat sad song with sadderdaze being a wordplay on Saturdays.

We Find Love – Daniel Caesar

“We Find Love” is a perfectly crafted ballad about a lover falling out of love with you and how love is basically a cycle.

Give Me Love – Ed Sheeran

To be honest, all of Ed Sheeran’s songs remind me somewhat of fall, but specifically this one. It’s sorrowful and sure to put you in your feelings.

ILYSB – LANY

On the more upbeat side of things, “ILYSB” is a song about what it’s like to love someone, so bad. It’s joyful, happy, and exuberant.

Saved – Khalid

One of Khalid’s deep cuts, “Saved” is an acoustic ballad about keeping an ex’s number saved just in case they ever need you again.

Ivy – Frank Ocean

“Ivy” is one of, if not my ultimate favorite song ever. It’s beautiful all year round, but it reminds me specifically of fall. It’s soft, nostalgic, and sure to make you reminisce.

Groupie Love – Lana Del Rey ft. A$AP Rocky

I feel like this is a song you’d for sure hear in a romantic drama type movie. It’s mesmerizing, and Lana and A$AP Rocky compliment each other perfectly.
