I’ve lived in Boston for literally all of my life. Yet, so far, It’s never been a city I tired of. Sometimes finding the next thing to do here is a search or a hunt, but what I’ve found in my years here is that it’s always worth it. Last night, I dragged a few friends of mine to a summertime sol jam at the ICA, our local contemporary art museum. The event was something never of us had been to or heard of before but nevertheless, we went. What we found was fun, unique, something we had never seen before. Even though I’ve lived her forever, moments like last night remind me of how extraordinary my city can be. I may be leaving for college next year, but careless nights like yesterday will remind me of what I briefly held here in my childhood and how some things never fail to surprise.
