Harry Styles…Need I Say More?
The music, the fashion, the hair, the documentary, the interviews, and the random little shows. Needless to say, Harry Styles is the center of attention right now. His new self-titled album came out on May 12th and everyone has been going ballistic ever since. He has been all over the place doing pop-up shows and interviews, including a week-long guest starring appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden. His solo career has been in existence for less than a month and he is already breaking records. And hearts.
As if I wasn’t already swooning, his style has been absolutely impeccable. I have been mentally incapable of dealing with the beauty of his suits. He truly does Gucci justice. I also don’t think I can talk about his street style without shedding a tear. You just want to find a flaw or a reason to dislike him, but he’s just a living impossible standard of perfection.
The album itself is also totally amazing. The record met so many expectations that I didn’t even know I had and I believe it is an accurate depiction of my music taste within itself. I could gush about it all day long, but so can many others. The album has gotten praise from Ed Sheeran, John Mayer, Justin Bieber, Nick Mason and Stevie Nicks who joined Harry during a concert in Los Angeles.
I’m not going to lie, I teared up while watching “Behind The Album” while alone in my room. As a former owner of a “Future Mrs. Styles” t-shirt, a lot of feels came rushing back to me. I can remember being in 5th grade and throwing a tantrum because my friend told me that Zayn had to be my favorite member of One Direction because everyone in our friend group could only have one of the boys and she already called Harry. It was traumatic.
I’m am just very optimistic about the future of his career. I have a feeling that he has a bright and prosperous future in music and I definitely ready to hear it. He is on top of his game right now and I am living for it.
